home at last

The past couple weeks have been really crazy. It's been really slow blogging and really fast traveling.

Lacey and I have gotten setteled into our new apartment in Sherman and are adjusting to the church. We really like it a lot, and the people are incredible. So friendly and so willing.

We made the drive home last night for Christmas, where we will be until Christmas day. Then we will drive to Springfield, MO and Oklahoma before we go back home next week.

I wanted to check in while I had time.
Real blogging resumes with the new year.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

graduation

After 3 1/2 years of SAGU, graduation has arrived.
The ceremony is tonight at 6p.

My family got in late last night, and Lacey's will be in later today.

It will also be good to see Nathan. Maybe we'll complete our yearly ritual of watching Home Alone 1 and Home Alone 2. They are my favorite movies.

It's been real busy the past week with finishing up classes and packing our apartment and my office. The Seven Christmas Party was also thrown in the mix.

Goodbye SAGU. Nice to meet you.

it's official

Lacey and I were officially hired on Saturday to be Student Pastors at Harvest Time Assembly of God in Sherman, Texas.

We will be moving next week to get a few days in before the Christmas break. We are extremely excited about leading the ministry and ready to see what God does in the community.

It's really sad because it's goodbye to Seven; goodbye to SAGU; and goodbye to Waxahachie.
On the other hand it's not sad to say goodbye to Blue Lake Villas.

It's time to rock 'n roll.
