sunday night spontaneity

sunday night about 10 i decided to shave my head. i had been thinking about it for a while, but i finally did it. i didn't go bald on it, only a number 4. i'm thinking next time i will probably go down one more notch. i'm really getting used to it and liking it a whole lot.

reaching higher than myself

a new year always brings a lot of reflection and goals set for the next few months. i have several myself.

1. personally experience christ everyday
2. model god's love to lacey and for us to fall deeper in love daily
3. be a person that lives out the life of christ the best that i know how
4. dream continually for twelve
5. consistently exercise my mind, body, and soul
6. lead myself as well as i lead others
7. remember i am at seven to influence students

now, off to make specific plans to reach these goals and rely on god's help.

life back to normal...somewhat

i am back at work this morning, which believe it or not i am glad to be back. my office has finally been completed and so for the first time in 2.5 years of working in sagu it i have my own office. and let's just say, it's real nice to be able to say that. school will start back up in a couple of weeks but until then, i still have time to adjust to married life and living in an apartment. lace and i spent all weekend cleaning, organizing, and spending gift cards to finish up our home. it's beginning to feel like a home instead of trash bin or junk pile.
