finally decelerating
the past few days have been non-stop on the go. but the car and my bags are finally packed, the apartment cleaned and ready to stay in, lacey's christmas present bought, and all my work done. now if only i could just get on highway 75 in be in owasso right now. in the middle of all that i found time to go to the bank, get a haircut, and go out to eat with everyone from work.

fall 2005 semester
check mark. done
holiday in the park
saturday we rewarded our students leaders by going to six flags. we got tickets for $10 (a steal) for everyone. about 50 students went and had a lot of fun. we stayed until about 9 that night, but part ot it was real sorry because they had all the good rides shut down for holiday in the park-batman, mr. freeze, and the texas giant. we had to stick with all the kid-coasters until they finally opened up the titan. what a rush! and in the van on the way home (it was only guys), 3 students (who will remain unnamed) decided to play freeze out. they were in their boxers for the entire ride with all the windows down and they took turns hanging out the van window. ahh, seven memories.

a great friend
i had lunch friday with my great friend daniel. it's become sort of a weekly thing (at least most weeks). he wanted to have lunch one last time with me "as a single guy." we went to a&w and just hung out for a while. he challenges me so much to think big. i have a tendency for my mind to be stuck on what i have to get done at the moment, but daniel is always dreaming and dreaming big. he wants to produce mainstream films someday, and i'm sure he will. he's so good at the stuff he does at seven. it's good to be around great minds like his.

where is my motivation?
it's the end of the semester, and my stimulus has almost run out. i have one project still due, as well as two finals to take. i am finding it extremely hard to finish this project and prepare for the last two exams. has my motivation been exhausted because of the busyness and strain of this semester or because i may be focused on a huge event that happens in my life in 9 days. i think it may be the wedding...
